In this series, the Free Market Institute will host Norwegian economist Finn Kydland for a lecture on “Economic Policy and the Growth of Nations.”
Kydland was named a fellow of the Econometric Society in 1992, has received the John Stauffer National Fellowship in Public Policy from the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace at Stanford University and is a co-recipient of the 2004 Nobel Prize in Economics for contributions to dynamic macroeconomics.
