The media entrepreneur and co-founder of HGTV will discuss “A Forgotten Form of Leadership” with students on the Texas Tech campus.
WHAT: Texas Tech University's College of Human Sciences hosts Susan Packard as part of the Women in Leadership Speaker Series in collaboration with the College of Media & Communication and the Rawls College of Business.

EVENT: Susan Packard will discuss “A Forgotten Form of Leadership” as the selected speaker for the College of Human Sciences as part of the Women in Leadership Series.
Packard is a media entrepreneur who helped build powerful networks such as HBO, CNBC, and HGTV. Today, she is an author, mentor, and leadership speaker. She has published three books, including “The Little Book of College Sobriety,” in which she shares her addiction experience to promote good emotional health for others in recovery.
Packard enjoys speaking to audiences across the country and was named one of the top 40 women keynote speakers by RealLeaders in 2020. She was awarded the honorary doctorate in humanities from her alma mater, Michigan State University.
She will be one of three speakers in the Women in Leadership Speaker Series hosted by the College of Human Sciences, the College of Media & Communication, and the Rawls College of Business. A complete list of speakers and further details can be found on the series website.
