EVENT:  The Texas Tech UniversityClimate Center will host its first Science by the Glass of the fall semester via Zoom Tuesday (Sept. 13). South Plains farmer R.N. Hopper's presentation “Connected By Common Ground” will focus on water conservation and no-till farming for corn, cotton, wheat, sorghum and sunflowers.  Hopper, a Petersburg resident and farmer, is founder and current president of the No-Till Texas organization. He is a 2000 graduate of Texas Tech with a bachelor's degree in agronomy.
