Skyviews Restaurant Renovations to be Unveiled April 5

The ribbon-cutting will provide a first look at the $585,000 renovation project made possible by the Moody Foundation.

EVENT:
Media are invited to attend the ribbon-cutting of the newly renovated Skyviews Restaurant, with the opportunity to tour the facility. Limited space is available due to current event guidelines. All attendees are encouraged to RSVP online.

Thanks to a generous gift from the Moody Foundation, Skyviews Restaurant has had the opportunity to take a significant step forward in serving its clients and students through extensive renovations, which were made during the 2020 academic year. This also marks the largest gift to Texas Tech from the Moody Foundation.

An extended, grand-opening celebration is planned for the fall semester.

Skyviews Restaurant

Skyviews is a full-service, largely self-supporting restaurant that provides a hospitality laboratory experience for students in the restaurant, hotel and institution management program at Texas Tech.

It has a lunch buffet and a dinner service, which is a four-course menu that changes weekly. It is open for lunch 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and dinner 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday of set weeks during the semester.

Reservations are recommended.

Skyviews is at 1901 University Ave., Suite 600 (southeast corner of 19th Street and University Avenue) in the Texas Tech Plaza.
