Oman Daily Observer - IBRA, Dec 18 – The sprawling new campus of A'Sharqiya University (ASU) was opened by His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tareq al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture, on Monday. "The new campus will cater to 1,500 students in different programmes every year. In five years, we will be able to accommodate 7,000 students, meeting the increasing demands of the local as well as international job market,” Dr Aboud bin Hamad al Suwafi, President of the committee, told the Observer.
