Level 1 and Level 2 award courses are being offered to wine enthusiasts ranging from beginners to experts.
WHAT: Texas Tech University's College of Human Sciences, through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET®), will offer Level 1 and Level 2 courses to wine enthusiasts of any level living in Lubbock and surrounding communities. WSET courses are globally recognized and designed to inspire and empower anyone looking to develop their wine knowledge at Texas Tech.
WHEN: Level 1 classes and exams will take place on Saturday, Oct. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 14. Level 2 classes and exams will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21, Saturday, Oct. 28, and Saturday, Nov. 4.
WHERE: The Overton Hotel, 2322 Mac Davis Lane
EVENT: The WSET is offering Level 1 and Level 2 award courses to wine enthusiasts of any level of knowledge. Participants will learn about styles of wine, common wine grapes, proper storage and serving techniques, food and wine pairings and more.
