Skyviews Restaurant Opens for Lunch and Dinner Series for Fall 2023

The student-run restaurant welcomes guests to enjoy unique dining experiences throughout the semester.

WHAT: Skyviews Restaurant of Texas Tech University presents its lunch offerings and dinner series supporting the Restaurant, Hotel and Institutional Management (RHIM) program.

WHEN: Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Sept. 6. Skyviews Dinner Series will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. each Wednesday, Sept. 20 through Nov. 29. The restaurant will be closed Nov. 22 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

WHERE: Skyviews Restaurant, 1901 University Ave., Texas Tech Plaza, sixth floor

EVENT: The Department of Hospitality and Retail Management's Skyviews Restaurant presents its dining options for Fall 2023. The largely student-run restaurant will open with its lunch offerings featuring a rotating buffet with new options each day.

Skyviews will also begin its dinner series for the semester later in September. Texas Tech hospitality students work together to create a unique dining theme to present at their pop-up restaurant. Guests will experience a five-course à la carte and beverage menu complete with décor.

Reservations are available on the Skyviews website, with walk-ins also welcome. A complete list of dates and pricing information can be found on the website.

Skyviews Restaurant

Skyviews is a full-service, largely self-supporting restaurant that provides a hospitality laboratory experience for students in the restaurant, hotel and institution management program at Texas Tech.

It has a lunch buffet and a dinner service, which is a four-course menu that changes weekly. It is open for lunch 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and dinner 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday of set weeks during the semester.

Reservations are recommended.

Skyviews is at 1901 University Ave., Suite 600 (southeast corner of 19th Street and University Avenue) in the Texas Tech Plaza.
