Texas Tech to Host 'Stars at Night' Centennial Celebration

The university is bringing the party to Dallas this weekend.

WHATTexas Tech University is bringing its Centennial Celebration to the Metroplex this weekend for “The Stars at Night.”

WHEN:  6-10 p.m. Saturday (May 20) 

WHERE:  AT&T Discovery District, 308 S. Akard St. in Dallas

EVENT:  Texas Tech will completely take over the AT&T Discovery District in downtown Dallas with a Centennial celebration promising to be the largest non-athletics event in university history.

All tickets include dinner and entertainment by Pat Green and the Josh Abbott Band. At sunset, the entire Dallas skyline will turn red in celebration of Texas Tech. Guests should also visit the lobby of the Ed Whitacre Tower to experience an immersive Centennial visual and audio display.

The gates will open at 6 p.m., and the concert will begin at 6:45 p.m. Media are invited to attend and cover the event, but they must RSVP to Blayne Beal using the information below.
