Innovation Hub Hosts Graduation and Ribbon Cutting for Accelerator Cohorts

The sixth cohort will be honored as graduates as the seventh is inducted.

WHAT:  Texas Tech University's Innovation Hub at Research Park hosts the graduation of the sixth cohort of the TTU Accelerator Program and the induction of the seventh cohort. 

WHEN:  3:30–6 p.m., Thursday (April 27)

WHERE:  Innovation Hub at Research Park, 3911 Fourth St.

EVENT:  The Innovation Hub will host an event celebrating the graduation of the sixth cohort of the TTU Accelerator Program and inducting the seventh cohort into the program. 

Startup companies from the year-long experience as the sixth cohort will share presentations on what they've learned and what is next for their company and graduates and mentors will have an awards ceremony. 

Following the awards for the graduates and mentors, the Innovation Hub will be joined by the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon-cutting ceremony inducting the seventh cohort into the program for the next year. Each new company will share demos and short pitches of their companies and products.

This 40,000-square-foot facility is designed to be a resource for the faculty and students of both Texas Tech and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center as well as community members interested in launching new ventures. Texas Tech is a national research university, and the Innovation Hub at Research Park is critical to building the knowledge-based economy of West Texas through the development of innovators and entrepreneurs who solve society's problems and develop innovations to make impact.

 

The Innovation Hub at Research Park is located at 3911 4th Street, Lubbock, TX, just west of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.

Office of Research and Innovation

The Office of Research and Innovation is tasked with facilitating excellence in research, scholarship and creative activity for Texas Tech students, faculty and staff. The office promotes an academic environment embracing creativity, curiosity, innovation, diversity, ethics and integrity.
