Texas Tech Centennial Tour to Stop in the Metroplex

A mobile billboard will visit Wylie, Dallas, Heath, Cleburne and Little Elm this week.

WHAT:  As part of Texas Tech University's Centennial Celebration, a mobile billboard will make six stops in the Metroplex this week. 

WHEN AND WHERE:

  • 10-11 a.m. Thursday (March 16) at Wylie High School, 2550 FM 544 in Wylie

  • 1:40-2:45 p.m. Thursday (March 16) at Wylie East High School, 3000 Wylie E. Drive in Wylie

  • Red Raider Roundup at The Rustic – Texas Tech Alumni Association (TTAA) Dallas County Chapter, 5-8 p.m. Thursday (March 16) at The Rustic Dallas, 3656 Howell St. in Dallas

  • TTAA Rockwall Chapter Centennial Celebration, 5-8 p.m. Friday (March 17) at Standard Service, 4240 Ridge Road in Heath

  • Texas Tech Centennial Mobile Tour at Hill College, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (March 18) at Hill College, 2112 Mayfield Parkway in Cleburne

  • 8-11:30 a.m. Monday (March 20) at Little Elm High School, 1900 Walker Lane in Little Elm

EVENT:  The mobile billboard will promote the Texas Tech Centennial celebrations across the state. The tour will showcase Texas Tech in a fun and creative manner at various locations, including high schools and Texas Tech Alumni Association chapter events. At each tour stop, guests can have their photos taken on the truck and take home Centennial swag.
