Skyviews Restaurant to Host 2022 Fall Dinner Series

The series will feature a unique pop-up restaurant each Wednesday.

WHAT: Texas Tech University's Skyviews Restaurant presents the 2022 Fall Dinner Series with a five-course dinner celebration, supporting the Restaurant, Hotel, and Institutional Management (RHIM) program.

WHEN: 6-7:30 p.m. each Wednesday, Oct. 5 through Nov. 30. The restaurant will be closed Nov. 23 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

WHERE: Skyviews Restaurant, Texas Tech Plaza, 1901 University Ave., sixth floor

EVENT: The Department of Hospitality and Retail Management's Skyviews Restaurant presents its 2022 Fall Dinner Series. Guests will be treated to an a la carte menu prepared by students who have teamed up to create their own pop-up restaurant concept. Each restaurant concept has a unique name, décor, cuisine and beverage menu that is featured each week. Pop-up restaurants are when startup restaurateurs and culinarians around the country seek creative venues to introduce and showcase their talents.

Dinner reservations are available on the Skyviews website, but walk-ins are welcome. The full menu and dates for each week are available on the website.

Skyviews Restaurant

Skyviews is a full-service, largely self-supporting restaurant that provides a hospitality laboratory experience for students in the restaurant, hotel and institution management program at Texas Tech.

It has a lunch buffet and a dinner service, which is a four-course menu that changes weekly. It is open for lunch 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday and dinner 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday of set weeks during the semester.

Reservations are recommended.

Skyviews is at 1901 University Ave., Suite 600 (southeast corner of 19th Street and University Avenue) in the Texas Tech Plaza.
