Climate Center Schedules Fourth 'Science By the Glass' Lecture

Michael Langston will present “Stakeholder Involvement in Climate Change Adaptation.”

WHAT: The Climate Center at Texas Tech University will host its latest installment of the “Science By the Glass” lecture series featuring Michael Langston, Deputy Director of the South Central Climate Adaptation Science Center.

WHEN: 5 p.m. Tuesday (Dec. 14)

WHERE: Virtually presented via Zoom

EVENT: Bring your favorite beverage and pull up a chair for a discussion titled, “Stakeholder Involvement in Climate Change Adaptation.” The discussion will be led by Michael Langston, Deputy Director of the South Central Climate Adaptation Science Center, one of nine regional centers from the National and Regional Climate Adaptation Science Center network.

Climate Center

The Climate Center at Texas Tech University conducts interdisciplinary research to address the interactive effects of climate variability across the full array of landscapes within the South Central U.S. We provide the science, tools, and information to link current conditions with regional climate projections, and examine the real-world decision making and planning that can be used to best anticipate, monitor, and adapt to this projected climate change.

Office of Research and Innovation
