TTU K-12 High School Hosts In-Person Commencement for 2020, 2021 Graduates

After canceling last year’s ceremony for health and safety reasons, the online school is happy to have students walk the stage.

Texas Tech University K-12 High School Commencement Ceremony

WHEN:

1 p.m. Saturday (May 22); doors open at 12:15 p.m.

WHERE:

McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center, 2521 17th St.

EVENT:

Texas Tech University High School, part of TTU K-12, will host its in-person commencement ceremony. Students from across the country will come to Lubbock to accept their diplomas.

As a fully online global educational option, the school gained several hundred new full-time enrollments during the pandemic from students and families who were looking for a successful online learning environment. 

Aliza S. Wong, a history professor and interim dean of Texas Tech University's Honors College, will be the commencement speaker.
