Texas Tech University's Climate Center hosts the virtual "Science by the Glass" event, "Climate and COVID: Is There a Connection?"

EVENT:
Bring your favorite beverage and pull up a chair for a virtual discussion led by Emily Bailey, assistant professor of public health at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Bailey will lead a discussion on COVID-19 and how it relates to climate change and environmental interactions. Her research interests are primarily in infectious diseases, environmental microbiology and emerging pathogens. She also will describe her current work on COVID-19 in human and environmental samples and take questions after the presentation.
