Texas Tech University Phi Beta Kappa will host a visiting scholar to lecture on the war on poverty.

EVENT:
James Sullivan, the Gilbert F. Schaefer College Professor of Economics at the University of Notre
Dame, will give a lecture on the history of poverty in America. Sullivan, who also
is the co-founder of the Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities, researches
the consumption, saving and borrowing behaviors of low-income households.
