Texas Tech University's Danny Reible, the Donovan Maddox Distinguished Engineering Chair, Horn Professor and professor of civil, environmental and construction engineering and chemical engineering in the Edward E. Whitacre Jr. College of Engineering, was unanimously selected as the 2020 recipient of the Gordon Maskew Fair Award from the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists® (AAEES).
"I'm highly appreciative and highly honored to receive the Gordon Maskew Fair Award, especially given the fact that many of the past recipients have been colleagues who I admire and respect," Reible said. "I'm happy to join their ranks."

- Significant contributions to the control of the quality of the world's environment and
- Other evidence of merit which advance the Academy's objectives.
"I am very pleased but not surprised that Dr. Reible has been named the Gordon Maskew Fair Award winner," said Al Sacco Jr., dean of the College of Engineering. "He is an outstanding environmental scientist and engineer and truly cares about impacting the world's environment. In addition, he is an outstanding colleague and excellent role model for our faculty."
