Texas Tech University, Austin College to Sign Important Agreements

The two institutions are partnering to allow Austin College undergraduate students to “fast track” a master’s degree from Texas Tech, as well as Texas Tech agreeing to conduct courses on the Austin College campus.

WHAT: Texas Tech University's eLearning & Academic Partnerships, a division of the Office of the Provost, and Austin College will sign academic and facilities agreements between the two institutions.

WHEN: 1 p.m. Thursday (Oct. 17)

WHERE: President's Home at Wood House, 921 N. Grand Ave., Sherman, Texas

EVENT: Officials from Texas Tech and Austin College will sign two memorandums of understanding to solidify academic and facilities agreements between the two institutions.

The academic agreement will create a "fast track" for undergraduate Austin College students to earn their master's degree from Texas Tech. The facilities agreement will allow Texas Tech to conduct courses on the Austin College campus.
