The two-night-only special event will offer a four-course meal.
Texas Tech University's Skyviews Restaurant will present a wine dinner featuring Kendall-Jackson Wines and Raider Red Meats on Sept. 18 and 19.
"We are so excited to bring this collaboration to Skyviews," said Garvin O'Neil, professor of practice in the university's Department of Hospitality & Retail Management. "We will be showcasing the award-winning wines of Kendall-Jackson and featuring a West Texas favorite and nine-time meat competition national champion, Raider Red Meats."
Michele Mills of Jackson Family Wines also shared her excitement to work with Skyviews and its students.
"We are very excited to bring our family legacy to Skyviews and its guests," Mills said. "The food presented will be carefully paired with the award-winning wines of Kendall-Jackson, including America's No. 1 best-selling chardonnay."
Executive Chef Jason Lindley has carefully curated a four-course pairing menu with the help of students in the Hospitality & Retail Management program at Texas Tech. The students will aid in the food preparation and service of this dinner to prepare them for their upcoming dinner series on pop-up restaurants.

"With both of us being affiliated with Texas Tech and its students, it is always a pleasure working with Skyviews," said Tate Corliss, program manager at Raider Red Meats. "Both of us take pride in serving others and providing the ultimate eating experience for guests."
The event will begin at 6 p.m. and costs $45 per person, including the wine and dinner. Additional wine, cocktails and beer may be purchased. Reservations are recommended.
