Golden Key Chapter Awarded Organization's Highest Honor

Personal Financial Planning Team Wins Financial Planning Challenge

In February 1999, a meeting between Texas Tech University's Personal Financial Planning faculty and American Express executives resulted in the creation of a financial planning competition – the American Express Planning Invitational. Agricultural Communications Students Claim National Awards


Ariana Bigham received the Outstanding Master's Thesis Award for “The Effect of Gender and Source Credibility on Message Persuasiveness,” and Laura Gorham Fischer won the Outstanding Dissertation Award for “Examining the Role of Motivational Salience, Issue Involvement and Pre-existing Attitudes on Selective Attention and Attitude Strength to Advertisement.” Read more>>
