EVENT: Texas Tech leaders from University Outreach & Engagement, Associate Vice President John Opperman and Director Birgit Green, will be available to speak to media during the 2019 Regional Engaged Scholarship Symposium. The event's keynote speaker, KerryAnn O'Meara, a professor of higher education and director of the ADVANCE program at the University of Maryland, also will be available.
The symposium, hosted by the Office of the Provost and University Outreach & Engagement, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday (April 10) at the alumni center and highlights innovative strategies and practices that integrate community engagement into daily university practice, while promoting teaching and learning, research and scholarship.
