Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences Hosts Undergraduate Research Conference

Texas Tech University's Center for Transformative Undergraduate Experiences (TrUE) will host the 11th annual Undergraduate Research Conference April 2-5 during the Discoveries to Impact Week: A Celebration of Research, Innovation and Startups.

This conference is one of the largest interdisciplinary undergraduate research conferences in the world with approximately 350 students from 12 institutions and six countries presenting.

Countries represented during the conference include Australia, Brazil, Columbia, Honduras, the Philippines and the United States. In addition to Texas Tech, universities that are participating in the conference include:

The week begins with poster and oral presentations of undergraduate research Tuesday and Wednesday (April 2-3.) TrUE will then recognize undergraduate researchers and faculty mentors during an awards ceremony Friday afternoon (April 5).

The conference will close with an exhibition of visual and performing arts at Lubbock's First Friday Art Trail at the Louise Hopkins Underwood Center for the Arts.
