An exhibit from the School of Art and a performance from the School of Theatre & Dance are a part of the schedule.

Texas Tech University's J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing Arts (TCVPA) houses the School of Art, the School of Music and the School of Theatre & Dance. Each school gives students, faculty, staff and visiting artists opportunities to exhibit and perform works on campus and in the community throughout the year.

Here are some of the ones to watch for in February:

University Symphony Orchestra Concert

The Texas Tech School of Music's University Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 11 in Hemmle Recital Hall. The orchestra will perform Felix Mendelssohn's Scottish Symphony, a work inspired by the ruins at Holyrood in Scotland.

Michael Borowski: Home Reports

The Texas Tech School of Art will host the "Michael Borowski: Home Reports" exhibition beginning Feb. 13 – March 3 at the SRO Photo Gallery in the School of Art building. In the exhibition, Borowski builds imaginary household objects from reconstructed tools, furniture and architectural fragments.

The Texas Tech School of Theatre & Dance will host "DanceTech 2019" at 7:30 p.m. beginning Feb. 28 – March 2 at the Charles Adams Studio Project 5&J Gallery, located at 602 Ave. J.
