WHAT: The Texas Tech University School of Law is hosting a ribbon cutting for the opening of its Wellness Room.
WHEN: Noon Wednesday (Nov. 28)
WHERE: Texas Tech School of Law library, 1802 Hartford Ave.
EVENT: The School of Law will host a ribbon cutting for the opening of its Wellness Room, a place to give law students the chance to de-stress.
This room is an initiative of the Student Wellness Advisory Committee (SWAC), the Office for Student Life and the library of the School of Law.
Jack Wade Nowlin, dean of the School of Law; Sofia Chapman, associate dean for student life; and Gunnison Matula, president of the SWAC, will speak at the ribbon cutting.
The room is available to law students only and can be reserved for 30-minute blocks, up to one hour per person. Students are not permitted to study in the Wellness Room.
