Texas Tech University, New Mexico Junior College to Announce New Partnership

New Mexico Junior College students will be able to transfer more easily to Texas Tech.

WHAT: Texas Tech University and New Mexico Junior College will announce a new educational partnership.

WHEN: 10 a.m. Monday (Nov. 19)

WHERE: McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center, 2521 17th St.

EVENT: Members from Texas Tech University and New Mexico Junior College (NMJC) will sign a memorandum of understanding, making it easier for NMJC students to transfer to Texas Tech.

The institutions also will sign an animal sciences agreement that will allow students at NMJC to feed into the animal science program at Texas Tech and, eventually, to the new School of Veterinary Medicine.
