Texas Tech Preview gives prospective students the opportunity to visit and experience the university.
Texas Tech University will host Texas Tech Preview starting Sunday (Oct. 7) for all prospective students, families and friends.
“This event provides prospective students an opportunity to see what Texas Tech has to offer,” said Jamie Hansard, executive director of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. “It's the biggest recruitment event of the year.”
The event is designed for visitors to meet faculty, staff and students and experience the campus.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the United Supermarkets Arena, followed by academic information sessions. The event continues on Monday with registration opening at 7:30 a.m., followed by a welcome from the Goin' Band from Raiderland, the Texas Tech Spirit Program and other distinguished guest speakers. During their visit, guests also will have the opportunity to browse a resource fair that features academics, student services and student organizations.
