School of Music Hosts Symphonic Wind Ensemble Concert

WHAT: Texas Tech University School of Music will host the Symphonic Wind Ensemble Concert.

WHEN: 7:30 p.m. Monday (Sept. 24)

WHERE: Hemmle Recital Hall, 2624 W 18th St.

EVENT: The Texas Tech School of Music, housed within the J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing Arts, will host the Symphonic Wind Ensemble for its first performance of the fall semester.

Directed by Sarah McKoin, director of bands and professor of conducting in the School of Music, the Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform selections from composers including John Williams, Percy Grainger and David Maslanka.

The concert is free and open to the public.
