WHAT: The Texas Tech University System, Texas Tech University and the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) will host an event honoring Caviness Beef Packers, which has committed impactful philanthropic support for the future Texas Tech School of Veterinary Medicine.
WHEN: 3-4 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 11)
WHERE: TTUHSC Amarillo campus, 1400 S. Coulter St. (East lawn in front of the Amarillo Research Building.)
EVENT: Texas Tech University System Interim Chancellor and TTUHSC President Dr. Tedd L. Mitchell and Texas Tech President Lawrence Schovanec will honor and recognize Caviness Beef Packers as a trailblazing donor that has generously committed support for the School of Veterinary Medicine. The event will occur in front of the Amarillo Research Building at the TTUHSC Amarillo campus.
Caviness representatives attending include President Trevor Caviness and CEO Terry Caviness.
These gifts support construction and development of the future School of Veterinary Medicine in Amarillo and help revolutionize veterinary services throughout Texas' agricultural communities.
