Texas Tech ranked No. 14 out of more than 2,500 colleges in the nation.
Texas Tech University continues to receive national attention for its commitment to providing high-quality online education. OnlineColleges.com recently ranked Texas Tech No. 14 in the nation on its list of 2018-19 Top Colleges That Offer Online Programs, which includes a total of 2,503 institutions.
The list was created by using the most recent final data available from the National Center for Education Statistics' Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System.
“Texas Tech has developed excellent online programs that allow anyone to receive a superior education no matter where they live,” said Justin Louder, associate vice provost for eLearning & Academic Partnerships. “The university is committed to providing exceptional online instruction to our students, and this ranking is another testament to the university faculty for developing and offering high-caliber online courses.”
The rankings were based on 14 criteria, including retention rate, graduation rate and the number of programs offered via distance education.
