The student-focused entrepreneurial event is hosted by the Innovation Hub at Research Park.

WHAT: The Red Raider Startup High School Program will host its final presentations to give students the opportunity to pitch an idea to a panel of investors.

WHEN: 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday (May 5)

WHERE: Innovation Hub at Research Park, 3911 Fourth St.

EVENT: Red Raider Startup is a three-day event where students get the chance to pitch an entrepreneurial idea to a group of investors.

40 high school students from local districts, including Lubbock, Lubbock Cooper, Frenship and All Saints Episcopal, will go through a set of learning modules in a “hands-on” environment that includes ideation, team formation, customer discovery and pitch workshops.

This program, offered twice a year to Texas Tech students and the community, is the best way for first-time entrepreneurs to be exposed to pitching an idea for a startup. Community members are welcome to attend.
