WHAT: The Texas Tech University Climate Science Center will host a seminar titled “Climate and Food.”
WHEN: Noon Tuesday (April 3)
WHERE: Experimental Sciences Building, Room 120
EVENT: Leslie Thompson, a professor of food science and safety in the Meat Science & Muscle Biology program, and Mary Murimi, a professor of nutritional sciences in the College of Human Sciences, each will give a presentation related to climate and food.
After the two presentations, both speakers will participate in a panel discussion to engage with the audience. Todd Brashears, an associate professor of agricultural education and communications, will moderate the discussion.
