Artists on campus have until 5 p.m. March 21 to submit entries.
WHAT: Texas Tech University Student Housing is issuing a last call for submissions from students, student organizations, staff and faculty members for the annual Recycled Art Contest.
WHEN: 5 p.m. Wednesday (March 21)
WHERE: Entry forms can be found online.
EVENT: The Recycled Art Contest will be held March 23 in the Ballroom of the Student Union Building and requires entries to be at least 75 percent recyclable materials. Contest entries can take whatever form the artist prefers, including sculpture, jewelry or painting. Each piece should not be bigger than 24 inches by 36 inches.
Entries must be dropped off between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. March 23 in the Ballroom and picked up between 2 and 3 p.m. the same day.
First, second and third-place winners will receive prizes provided by Barnes & Noble. Winners will be notified by email and an announcement on Facebook.
