Early registration for the Think Tank is now open.
The Texas Tech University Burkhart Center for Autism Education & Research will host its second Higher Education Think Tank conference April 4-5 at the McKenzie-Merket Alumni Center, 2521 17th St.
The Think Tank is a gathering for professionals working with campus-based programs that support degree-seeking college students with autism and related learning differences. Discussion will focus on successful strategies, challenges and research related to the support of college students on the autism spectrum.
Discussions will be led by professionals from Texas Tech, the Burkhart Center and universities outside of Texas and will include topics like academic success, employment and relationships. There also will be an interactive panel of state, community and campus partners for post-secondary programs.
Registration for the Think Tank is now open and can be found online. The registration fee is $200 if registered by March 23 and $250 after this date.
