The national collegiate Hispanic honor society will host a forum to kick off Hispanic Heritage Month.
WHAT: "The Role of the Spanish Language in Shaping the Future of the United States" forum, hosted by the national collegiate Hispanic honor society Sigma Delta Pi.
WHEN: 2-3 p.m. today (Sept. 15)
WHERE: Room 001, Education Building
EVENT: Six panelists will attend the forum to speak about the role of the Spanish language in the United States.
Panelists include:
- Diego Pascual y Cabo, assistant professor of Spanish
- Josh de la Rosa Prada, instructor of Spanish
- Erika Zavala, doctoral student, Bilingual Education
Gayle Jeffers, president of Sigma Delta Pi, will moderate the forum.
