Tech to Town Set For This Weekend

Red Raiders will give back to the Lubbock community through service projects.

Volunteer Center of Lubbock

WHAT: The second annual Tech to Town is an event designed by Texas Tech University students as a day of service projects to say "thank-you” to the City of Lubbock for all the community does for the university.

WHEN: Saturday (April 22)

EVENT: Almost 700 volunteers are expected to participate at locations across Lubbock.

Locations include:

  • Charles Adams Studio Project – 1106 5th St.
  • Lubbock Dream Center – Mosswood Park, corner of 24th Street and Avenue Q
  • Guadalupe Park Sommerville Centers – 123 N. Avenue N
  • Refuge Services – 8405 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
  • Various city lakes and parks
