Institutional Diversity Hosts Final Spring Installment of Difficult Dialogues
WHAT: The Texas Tech University Cross-Cultural Academic Advancement Center (CCAAC) will host a panel discussion on immigration reform. The topic focuses on the current U.S. regulations regarding immigration.
David Strange, adjunct professor for the Texas Tech School of Law, will mediate the discussion between the audience and the four panelists. The panel includes:
- Armando Lopez, assistant professor for the Department of Economics
- Saba Nafees, doctoral student in Mathematical Biology
- Miriam Aguayo, juris doctorate candidate
- Janie Covarrubias, part-time Spanish instructor for the Department of Classical and Modern Languages and Literatures
