The Texas Tech University Dairy Barn received a new distinction Thursday (Apr. 28) - a Texas Historic Landmark marker.

The Student Government Association and the Lubbock County Historical Commission worked together to get the honor bestowed on the Dairy Barn which was built in 1927, and was one of the four original buildings on the Texas Tech campus.
