Open Forums Scheduled for Chief Financial Officer Candidates

The search for a Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Administration & Finance has been underway for several weeks and three candidates will visit campus soon.

The candidates each will participate in an open forum, where they will be introduced and answer questions from audience members.

“The participation and feedback of the campus community is vital to the search and those attending the open forums will have an opportunity to provide the search committee with comments about the candidates,” said Texas Tech President M. Duane Nellis.

The candidates:

Bob Brown, Vice President for Business & Administration, Texas A&M University-Commerce

Open Forum: Nov. 19, 3-4 p.m., Escondido Theater, Student Union Building

Cheryl MacBride,
 Deputy Director for Services, Texas Department of Public Safety
; and Trustee, Employees Retirement System of Texas


Open Forum: Nov. 25, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Escondido Theater, Student Union Building

Noel Sloan, 
Interim Chief Financial Officer and Vice President for Administration & Finance, Texas Tech University
