A rural Wyanet woman is starting a business designed to protect people from being injured in tornadoes at their home or business.

Lyle gets the units from a company in Missouri. Each unit has been tested and engineered
to withstand an EF-5 tornado with ground level 250 mph wind speeds.
They are tested at the Debris Impact Center at Texas Tech University where laser-guided
projectiles are shot from an air cannon at speeds estimated at 50 mph — greater than
the EF-5 tornado.
