MyPlainview - Plainview High School math teacher Marcie Featherston has been awarded the Helen I. Medley Award for Outstanding Mathematics Teacher of the Year by Texas Tech University Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
Plainview High School math teacher Marcie Featherston has been awarded the Helen I. Medley Award for Outstanding Mathematics Teacher of the Year by Texas Tech University Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
The award, sponsored by Texas Tech professor Dr. Roger Barnard, honors his high school math teacher, Helen Medley. Barnard said Medley made a huge impact on his life and career choice.
