Granddaughter of Winston Churchill to speak at Texas Tech

WHAT: Celia Sandys, Winston Churchill’s granddaughter, to speak at Texas Tech University

WHEN: 7 p.m. Wednesday (March 30)

WHERE: Museum of Texas Tech University Helen Devitt Jones Auditorium

EVENT: Sandys, the daughter of Churchill’s eldest child, Diana, and Cabinet   Minister, Duncan Sandys, will draw from her intimate knowledge of her grandfather during her presentation. 

She will share personal anecdotes, excerpts from her grandfather’s speeches, photographs and other material from her private collection.
