SPICE Director to Speak at 21 Minutes Conference

Polgar will speak on "How chess and SPICE can improve countless lives for generations to come."

Susan Polgar, executive director of Texas Tech's Susan Polgar Institute for Chess Excellence (SPICE), will speak at the 21 Minutes conference Thursday through Saturday (Nov. 18-20) in Milan, Italy.

The 21 Minutes conference is an innovative program in communications and training for sustainable business. The conference is open platform and spans over a wide range of disciplines.

Polgar will speak on "How chess and SPICE can improve countless lives for generations to come."

Polgar was born in Budapest in 1969. She was successful in chess throughout her childhood and has been named the top-ranked woman in the United States in the Chess Olympiads. In 2007, Polgar received an honorary degree from Texas Tech.
