Statesman.com - Alberto Gonzales, who was attorney general under President George
W. Bush, is returning for a second year as a visiting professor of political science
at Texas Tech.
Gonzales, a former Texas Supreme Court justice and Texas secretary of state, often
speaks to students who would be the first in their families to attend college, according
to a university news release. 'I hope Texas Tech benefits from my efforts, but am
more hopeful the students I've spoken to end up attending college,' he said.
