Greene, Kisida and Mills: The higher price for higher ed

Austin American Statesman -- As students return to college this fall, parents and taxpayers are probably wondering where all of the money we give to universities actually goes.


We see the same story at the University of Texas, where administration increased by 33 percent compared to only a 14 percent increase in teaching, research and service. UT-Arlington, UT-Dallas, Texas Tech and the University of North Texas all had similar trends.
