Lubbock author Sean P. Cunningham, who teaches history at Texas Tech, examines the
political change in Texas and how Texas helped shape political change nationally in
his new book, “Cowboy Conservatism: Texas and the Rise of the Modern Right” (University
Press of Kentucky, $40 hardcover).
