Texas Tech regents to meet about funding, possible building swaps

Texas Tech Chancellor Kent Hance is scheduled to update the university’s governing board this week on his wish list for lawmakers next year in Austin.

Hance will deliver his report to Tech’s Board of Regents on Thursday during the board’s two-day meeting on campus.

Regents will consider Tech’s fiscal ambitions and priorities leading up to next year’s legislative session in Austin.
