Housing Honored for Exceptional Support and Service

University Student Housing at Texas Tech was honored with the Presidential Service Award at the Association of College and University Housing Officers-International (ACUHO-I) Annual Conference & Exposition in Austin.

Twelve members from the department attended the event. Members presented programs, won awards and assisted with the logistics of the conference. The banquet and ceremony was hosted June 26-29.

Members also received the ACUHO-I award for exceptional support and consistent outstanding service to the association.

“We were chosen by outgoing ACUHO-I President Michael Schultz to receive this distinguished honor and award,” said D’aun Green, senior associate managing director at University Student Housing. “It was quite a surprise for those of us at the conference.”
