Students from six colleges to share redevelopment visions for stadium site

Students from six Texas colleges today will present in Dallas their visions of what Irving could look like once Texas Stadium is cleared from its landscape.

Graduate-level teams are using the 78-acre site as the case study in the fifth annual Texas Shoot-Out Real Estate Challenge. They'll compete for scholarship money when they present their plans for remaking one of the country's most well-known pieces of land.

Teams are from Baylor, Southern Methodist, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Christian and Texas Tech universities. The top prize is $10,000. Second place garners $7,500.
