Texas Tech’s University Parking Services will help students, faculty and staff stay safe and avoid possible hazards while driving this spring break.
The Car Clinic and Safety Fair event is an opportunity for the Texas Tech community to get a free checkup for their cars by Scott’s Car Care Clinic. The event will begin 2 p.m. on March 3 at the C17 parking lot, west of the law school.
The Car Care Council reported results from vehicle checkup events across the nation that 80 percent of vehicles need service or parts. University Parking Services and Scott’s Complete Car Care will host a car clinic to check fluids and belts to ensure that students, faculty and staff are ready to travel the roads before spring break.
All attendants will receive a goody bag and a chance to win a free parking permit.
