Texas Tech University’s School of Art will present the advanced studio work from
this year’s graduating seniors in the Senior Studio BFA Group Exhibition.
A special reception for the exhibit will follow the School of Art’s open house celebration
on First Friday, from noon-4 p.m. on March 5. The exhibition will be on display from
Feb. 27-March 12, in the Landmark Arts Studio Gallery. All events and exhibits are
free and open to the public.
The Senior Studio BFA Group Exhibition features work in all media ranging from ceramics,
jewelry design and metalsmithing, painting and drawing, photography, printmaking and
sculpture. Students showing their work include

Jessica Rivera, Jessica Sailors, Lauren Scully, Nicole Brauer, Joseph Smith, Ryan
Borg, Jason Cooper, Rachel Heimerman, Naomi Hill, Lauren Holden, Amanda Marchall,
Ryan McDaniel, Mallory McDowell, Mary Mecca, Katharine Powell, Fernando Rivas, Dustin
Simms, Rachel Stroman, Michael Synatzske, Seth Teeters and Stephanie Valenzuela.
The Art Building is located at 2802 18th Street (near the corner of 18th Street and
Flint Avenue, just east of the Architecture Building on the Texas Tech campus). On
Mondays through Fridays, visitor parking is available for $1.20 per hour in the small
lot adjacent to the Art Building and on the fourth floor of the Flint Avenue Parking
Garage. Parking is free on weekends. Gallery hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through
Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturdays and noon-4 p.m. Sundays. The galleries are closed
on university holidays.
