Settlement reached in USCF litigation

A court stipulation and postings on the Internet establish that the marathon legal battle involving the US Chess Federation (USCF) and its board and staff members on the one hand and Susan Polgar and her husband, Paul Truong, on the other has been settled and a Texas court is likely to approve the settlement.


Polgar was defending her name but also her standing at Texas Tech, where her Institute for Chess Excellence is located. The institute is one of the most successful chess supporters in the country.
